Year 8

1. Recognising individual talents, skills and abilities and barriers which need to be overcome, whilst examining which skills are required for different job

3. Gender stereotyping within society
4. Planning for Options
5. Successful behaviours
1. Exploring work enterprise skills within the work place
2. Recognising the importance of developing and using good non-verbal and verbal communication skills.
3. Recognising the difference between facts and beliefs and the importance of checking the accuracy of facts. Equal opportunities legislation will be explored and facts that ambitions should be based on ability and interests and not stereotypes of traditional men’s/women’s jobs
